I am continually inspired by what I find in the natural world and the summer months have been particularly rewarding. In Glenfinnan, I was lucky enough to photograph a cloud inversion from a remote peak at dawn. On the island of Eigg, I witnessed an oystercatcher's egg hatching and on Rum, during one of my photography courses, we spent an afternoon on the beach, photographing stags. I hope that you too have witnessed some rare moments and captured their elusive qualities with your cameras.

Next year's courses are filling up quickly, so if you’re interested in developing your photography skills in wild places, take a look at the 2009 trips. There’s also the chance to travel to the remote Kingdom of Bhutan to photograph the Punakha Festival and we’re off to Namibia in search of desert elephants in April.
