Stephen Park Leisure and Training Complex
Stephen Park Leisure and Training Complex is housed in a complex of four buildings in the Gisburn Forest, which is part of the Forest of Bowland - a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is also adjacent to the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The buildings have been refurbished and restored to provide accommodation for up to 40 people, with associated conference, IT and education facilities.
Facilities at Stephen Park are available for groups to visit for a few days, a long weekend or longer periods, providing the opportunity for individuals to strengthen their personal and social skills and enhance their quality of life.
Stephen Park provides the ideal base for getting away from the pressures of urban life and discovering the joys of a rural environment. As well as the Gisburn Forest there are also numerous other places to visit within easy reach of Stephen Park, providing the opportunity for visitors to experience lifestyles very different from their own.
Stephen Park is available for use by a wide range of voluntary and other groups, whose members would benefit from time away from their normal environment.
The facilities are also available to special interest groups such as Historic Societies, Church Clubs, Art Groups, Ramblers Associations, Women's Health Groups, Environment and Conservation Groups as well as school and youth parties.
Stephen Park's two fully equipped Conference Suites are also available for hire by the day, or as part of a fully inclusive residential package.
