Kayak Canoeing
This taster session gives you the opportunity to experience the sport of Kayak canoeing. Our aim is that you will find this session fun, educational and safe, wetting the appetite for one of our skills or BCU Award courses.
Schools and youth groups - When undertaking canoeing sessions All participants will be accredited under the BCU Paddlepower scheme or work towards the "Star Award " accreditation scheme?
Adventure Day
Why not combine Kayak Canoeing with Mountain biking, Orienteering or Team / Problem Solving Exercises, Archery, Abseiling, Rock Climbing, Gorge Walking to create and Adventure Day of activities.

Kayak white water day This day's course provides a gentle introduction to moving water techniques. The course syllabus will cover Interpretation of moving water Edging Ferry gliding Breaking in and out Surfing waves Discussion of Personal and Group Safety equipment. Applicants should have had some previous canoeing experience. |
