Open Canoeing

This taster session gives you the opportunity to experience the sport of Open or Canadian canoeing. This stable craft and offers a safe experience on the water for the less confident whilst allowing the those with more experience a chance to discover Open canoeing. Our aim is that you will find this session fun, informative and safe, wetting the appetite for one of our touring or BCU Award courses.

Adventure Day 
Why not combine Open Canoeing with Mountain biking, Orienteering or Team / Problem Solving Exercises, Archery, Abseiling, Rock Climbing, Gorge Walking to create and Adventure Day of activities.

Schools and youth groups

When undertaking canoeing sessions. All participants will be accredited under the BCU Paddlepower scheme or work towards the "Star Award " accreditation scheme.

White Water Day - Canadian

This is the fastest growing part of the sport, an ideal craft for families, expeditions or camping trips. On the course you will learn all about boat handling skills. A common misconception is that these boats are unstable in moving, especially rough, water. In truth the Open Canoe is an excellent method of negotiating white water. We are able to offer Open Canoe expeditions which can be combine with other activities to make a few day away or be part of a Duke of Edinburgh's Award expedition. Call to discuss you requirements.
